Two days ago (April 11), The Royal Courts of Justice in London set Friday, April 13th, 12:00pm as the execution date for Little Alfie Evans as that is when the Alder Hey Children’s Hospital will take little Alfie off life support – Against the wishes of his parents.  THIS IS ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS!  Below is a brief summary of the facts: Alfie Evans was born healthy in May of 2016. In December of 2016 he was taken to Alder Hey with a chest infection at which time he developed a serious un-diagnosed illness which has left little Alfie “unresponsive” and imprisoned against the demands of hisRead More →

“When Christ calls a man, he bids him come and die.” ― Dietrich Bonhoeffer, The Cost of Discipleship Today is “Yom HaShoah” or as we commonly call it as non-Jews “Holocaust Remembrance Day.”  This day is set aside each year to honor the memory of the six million Jews who were murdered, to honor the resilience of survivors, and to rededicate ourselves to preventing genocide.  To that end, I want to take a moment to recognize a #RadicalMan of God, Dietrich Bonhoeffer. At a time when most pastors and priests in Germany were jumping on Hitler’s bandwagon of anti-Semitism, Bonhoeffer joined the Confessing Church, a small but committed groupRead More →

Now that the “Big Game” has been played and the “Good Guys” have been found victorious (sorry Patriots fans), let’s take a minute to focus on what matters most from last Sundays game.  It isn’t the final score or even the fact that the Eagles won and the Patriots lost per se.  To the chagrin of many in the media and those of you operating comfortably in our highly secularized culture, the focus was put squarely where it belonged – on God (2 Corinthians 1:20).  At the end of the day, when the game clock struck 0:00, once the Fat Lady sang, and the celebratoryRead More →

The Death Panel court of the UK’s socialized medical system is at it again.  Just as with Charlie Gard, little Alfie Evans and his parents are in the fight of there lives.  Not only with an unknown disease that keeps Alfie in a coma, with  seizuers, but with a hospital supported by a socialized medical and court system much more comfortable with terminating life than turning that life over to those who LOVE IT and to another hospital willing to help Alfie rather than KILL him. Doctors at the Alder Hey Children’s Hospital are in disagreement with Alfie’s parents on whether “continued active treatment” isRead More →

A flood of emotions is all I have. My heart is broken today for little Charlie’s parents. Now that his earthly struggle has come to an end, I am joyful and assured that little Charlie has been called home and is fully embraced in the arms of Christ. I am near the point of rage at the tyranny of a progressive government that is allowed steal away from the parents their privilege of nurturing and caring for one of God’s children. Lastly, I am fearful that the body of Christ has either fallen asleep or has been beaten into submission to the point that we willRead More →
