Two days ago (April 11), The Royal Courts of Justice in London set Friday, April 13th, 12:00pm as the execution date for Little Alfie Evans as that is when the Alder Hey Children’s Hospital will take little Alfie off life support – Against the wishes of his parents. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY OUTRAGEOUS! Below is a brief summary of the facts:
- Alfie Evans was born healthy in May of 2016.
- In December of 2016 he was taken to Alder Hey with a chest infection at which time he developed a serious un-diagnosed illness which has left little Alfie “unresponsive” and imprisoned against the demands of his legal guardian parents.
- For a full year, the Evans family was engaged in a heated disagreement with the Alder Hey staff over whether Alfie deserved “continued active treatment,” as he was “unable to recover from the illness.” As a result, the hospital refused to turn over custody of the child to his parents so that they could seek treatment outside the U.K.
- In December 2017, the case was turned over to the Family Division of the Royal Courts of Justice in London. At this point, a judge on the Royal Court “Death Panel,” NOT THE PARENTS OR A MEDICAL TEAM, would make the determination as to whether or not Alfie LIVE OR DIE.
- During this time, two hospitals, The Vatican Hospital in Italy (same hospital that offered treatment to Charlie Gard) and another in Germany offered to continue current treatment, a second opinion, and possibly treatments not currently available in the U.K.
- In February 2018, Justice Hayden of the Royal Court heard six days of testimony and made the determination that “…Alfies brain had been so corrupted by mitochondrial disease that his life was futile.” This is in sharp contrast to video evidence of Alfie responding to various stimuli (lights and voices), displaying various activities (yawning and stretching), and beginning to show signs of breathing on his own.
- Between February and April 2018 the family has exhausted all its available legal challenges through the English court system and the European Court of Human Rights – All with the same result as would be expected from a European socialized medical system governed by a secular progressive culture of death.
- On April 11th, 2018 Justice Hayden ordered the Alder Hey Children’s Hospital to remove life support.
- Yesterday (April 12), the Evans attorney, Paul Diamond of the Christian Legal centre drafted and delivered to the parents and the hospital a letter advising that the parents have “primary responsibility for their son and full parental rights” which must not be superseded by the state. This letter concludes by advising the parents that there is nothing in English law preventing them from freely removing Alfie from Alder Hey.
- April 12th concluded with the Alder Hey Hospital calling the police to guard all the exits and prevent the Evans family from removing Alfie, with the assistance of other trained medical professionals and equipment, and moving him to another facility to continue treatment. This case is a SICK, DISGUSTING, EMBARRASSMENT for the U.K. and the entirety of socialized bureaucratic medicine. In spite of any contrary evidence AND the fact that two other facilities are willing to take and treat little Alfie, Alder Hey’s solution IS the “FINAL SOLUTION” – Pull the plug and MURDER Alfie Evans.
As I wrote this past December, this should serve as a WARNING to every American conservative – We as a country need to get serious about this threat of tyrannical government overreach, specifically the abolishing of family/parental rights by way of an immoral socialized medical system. The cases are appearing here and they ARE NOT going away. The secular progressive “culture of death” has marched solidly and swiftly across much of Europe and South America and there are forces in this country determined to expand this diseased philosophy here.
