When considering the ultimate antagonist, certainly Satan comes to mind right?  Thoughts of good vs. evil, light vs. darkness bubble from within.  Perhaps we think of the Raiders with their infamous pirate, skull and cross bones shaped logo.  We pull for the Lakers or Celtics, Bulls or Pistons depending on our sways.  We construct “Darth Vader” in our lives as a reflex to life itself. As we embark on the new year, I’m reminded of a powerful Biblical principle I wanted to share this morning.  “Only sacrifice brings the Supernatural.” Psalm 4:5  Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord. As I sit and reflect on things (which is a rare occurrence trust me) I find myself wondering how my Children (x3) can be closer to God.  I certainly know firsthand the benefits of a close and personal relationship with the Lord and I so want my Children to see those same benefits of obedience.
